Activity: Listening / observation activities can be organized to reinfroce greetings and introductory conversations. For example, you may want to show the audio and video files of people speaking and greeting that they encounter in daily life and ask your students do the same. Similar activities can be developed for reading and writing.

Practice: Since we started teaching Turkish by teaching the alphabet, our first activity should be to compare the sounds and letters in Turkish to the learner’s native language to make the sounds and letters familiar to the learner.
