Topic 2: Greeting

We should teach one or two worded simple greeting expressions (merhaba/hello, selam/hi, günaydın/good morning, iyi akşamlar/good evening, görüşürüz/see you, affedersiniz/excuse me, özür dilerim/sorry, tebrik ederim/congratualtions, n’aber/what’s up, nasılsın/how are you…)

    While theaching these expressions the letters can be shuffled for students to put them in the correct order. Controlled writing exercises are an important type for this level and it both works in simple expressions and writing down the name of the given image.
